My 10 days with Toni & Guy

Way back in April nailgirls had the pleasure of doing the manis and pedi on the new Toni & Guy ads. Richard Bush shot the campaign, Sarah Richardson styled it, Mathias Hooff did the makeup and ofcourse Toni & Guy hair team did the hair. Love the team, love the shots. Here are the backstage exclusive shots I will post pics from the ad soon.
But the big news from the shoot is that we mixed an exclusive colour as seen above for the shoot. The brief was to match the colour of the models lipstick which was a nude, pink, flesh, 60′s ish colour. So Mandeep and I went to work by mixing beige#1, pink#4 and brown #3. It is not for sale but we can paint it in spa for you. see you soon.

Guess what’s back

The French mani is back. The traditional French with the pinky base and bright white tip as well as the American which is the beigey more natural toned cousin. But also the crazy clashing colour French is out there.

But here at nailgirls we are mixing it up a bit with the London. The London is with not just clashing colour tips but when the tip or half moon is in a slightly different pattern/ design that is a bit out there a bit London.
